This policy explains how Saha Equation Technologies (OPC) Private Limited (“Saha Equation”, “we”) handles information when you visit sahaequation.com. Each of our brands (OneHook, Infoherd, ActualOrigin and others) publishes its own privacy policy for its own product.

What we collect

Browsing this site. We do not use cookies, analytics, advertising or any third-party trackers. Fonts and all other assets are served from our own domain. Like any website, our hosting provider records standard technical access logs (such as IP address, requested page, browser type and time) to keep the service secure and reliable.

Contacting us. When you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address, organisation, topic and message you provide, together with your browser’s user agent and a one-way hash of your IP address that we use only to prevent abuse.

Why we use it

• To keep the website secure and to prevent spam and abuse.

We do not sell, rent or trade personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Where it is stored and for how long

Contact messages are stored encrypted in Amazon Web Services’ Mumbai region (ap-south-1), in India, and are deleted automatically after 12 months. Website access logs are deleted after 90 days. Our hosting provider, Amazon Web Services, processes this data on our behalf.

Your rights

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask us to access, correct or erase personal data you have shared with us, or withdraw consent for its use. Send your request through the contact form (choose “General enquiry”) and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Security

The site is served only over HTTPS with strict security headers, and stored data is encrypted at rest. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information with industry-standard measures.

Children

This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on the site.
